Hey Dave --

Welcome to the other side.:-)

I think we are approaching a critical moment... more and more, (and more and more quickly) I am seeing those of us that have been talking about this forever make a mental breakthru. From talking to doing, from strict passivism to acknowledging that we do "need it all", from "ideology" to practical living and all sorts of similar breaks. As you mentioned above, I think it is fundamentally a break in that pre-conditioning, that indoctrination, that we all have. The next few years are going to be increasingly.... interesting ;-)

"We must choose and commit ourselves to real measures of the defeat of the regime and the undermining and collapse of the industrial growth systems..."

Yes! A qualified "Yes": I identify with the "we" you speak of, and yet we might not agree on "real measures" to take. I think there will always be some ambiguity about which measures are appropriate, which measures really work; but that's not as important as educating and encouraging each other, and finding our own ways to contribute.

Some of us will work best at educating and persuading, others at destroying, others at building new forms, and so on. May all these efforts contribute to the end of industrial civilization and the beginning of a new way for global humanity to live on earth.

One thing you need is an easily finadable Home link -- I suggest making the blog title clickable. First-time visitors who land on individual posts shouldn't have to edit the address in the browser window to see the rest of the site. I also recomment "next post" and "previous post" links in single.php to encourage browsing.

Congratulations on the new digs -- and for managing to reproduce so closely the look of the old digs! You really don't like change, do you? :) The important thing though is that you managed to import all the archives. That's great.
