ALISON McCALLEN (WIENS)

I graduated from Faculty of Education, U of M, and then went to teach at Balmoral Hall for about five years. During that time I met and married Jim McCallen, also a U of M grad. We moved to Denver, Colorado in 1981 with Great-West Life and have lived here ever since. We love Colorado for lots of reasons, including the mountains, climate, and wonderful friends that we have made here. We have three children, Mike, Kathryn, and Andrew. Mike is currently working in New York City for a small consulting firm; Kathryn is a junior in the School of Nursing at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.; Andrew will graduate from Cherry Creek High School this May and will attend either the University of Vermont or Denver University’s Business School. I am back teaching part time as a reading specialist. All is well, and do let us know if anyone is heading to Colorado to do some skiing!
