    Nice to see a political discussion that doesn’t end with everyone storming off in a smouldering rage. My favorite quote from the thread: “Democratic candidates who all seemed to be running for the post of Tapioca-Spined Hangdog of the Year.” Personally, I like the MDtoMN guy’s perspective. He makes an important point that you can be both conservative and liberal across a spectrum of issues, something many people refuse to acknowledge. – R.
